Hit from behind .......

Well I was sitting at a red light and was hoping it would change fast because I was close to home and I had the shtz and was gonna blow any second! At that time some one plowed into me from behind while I was waiting! My head was like a bobble head and experienced my first whip lash! I got out and told the guy to me me at the corner store! Called 911 and waited for the cops!

the guy was actually a nice and apologized, cop took the info and basil said the guysaid if was his fault, no doubt !

his truck was messed up and emptied out all the radiator fluid and couldn't drive and not a thing happened to my truck that I can notice! I reported it to my USAA and did a claim in case something comes up with the truck, the bumper looks as maybe was pushed in evenly about a hair because my trailer hitch took the hit!

my neck, lower back and shoulders are sore

I’d have a shop look at it. These have crush zones and I’m sure damage is done. You could easily get a check from insurance. If you don’t want any minor accident report on your car fax then I wouldn’t say anything or try to get the dodge to pay out cash and not go through insurance. Sound like it’s already been reported so might as well get a little year end bonus check. Maybe some paid time off work.

yeah, I'll take it into a collision shop this week, my insurance lady said I can go through their farmers insurance or through mine but I have a $500 deductible and no rental car insurance!

my insurance sent me a note said through my insurance they found me not at fault but also said there are different variables that still may effect my premium, WTF. That would suck! I am 2 payments alway from paying my 2017 Tundra off!

their insurance called me and left a message to call but I don't know how this thing works so I just told my insurance lady they called!

Im sorry bubba. I'm glad your ok. I would definitely have the truck checked out especially if you do any kind of towing with that hitch. I would hate to be going down the highway and have my side by side pass me

If it was not your fault shouldn't be a deductible unless going through your insurance. And once his insurance compensates your insurance you should be getting the deductible back. I'd call BS on premium changing. A not at fault accident shouldn't affect you in the least. If it does you need to switch insurance stat. Both my accidents in my MGM never affected my premium and I got my deductible back.

I am so glad you are Okay, the dude should have Dodged, but I guess he chose to ram. If you need repairs or it is reported get them to pay for diminished value also, it can be a substantial amount.
